Davis Love III brings his signature golf course design to Florida with the River Hall Country Club and Golf Course. This will be the first golf course in Florida for Love Golf Design, co-founded by Davis Love III and his brother, Mark. The River Hall Country Club and Golf Course is due to open the fall of 2007 and membership is included with each home purchase through a bundled golf package. Davis Love III has a design style known as minimalist. He works with native surroundings to make the course look natural, as though it was always there. "Our vision for the course is that it will be very traditional in style and provide challenge to players through strategy versus just being long and difficult," said Mr. Love. "Our goal is to create a course that is playable and fun for golfers of varied skill levels, and one that people will look forward to playing every day." When the course opens, it will have a 7,000 square-foot clubhouse with a bar and grill, offices and pro shop with plans to expand to at least 12,000 square feet with a large banquet room and full kitchen. In addition, Town Hall, the two story recreation center, offers tennis, resort style pool and many more amenities.
